there is only time

the breath I breathe now
the amount of time taken for it to seep through my lips

and into my lungs
might be the same amount of time taken for it to happen
when I was ten
and it might have happened at the exact same second
at the exact same minute
at the exact same hour
in this exact room
on this exact bed
both
together
at the exact same time
only
in different dimensions

might cease to exist
I might only be a possibility
