.

Flickering lights from above of bugs' tail lights around us
They are like the stars but
you shine out like the moon with your soft, delicate skin
You hold my hand and
tell me to breathe as I suffocate and gasp for air
drowning in my own skin
Your face as dead as I
yet we are perfect this way and not you nor I need to change
You look at me
with your glowing, menacing eyes
as my hands run down your fingers and thumb
I am still suffocating
however
you are still silent and serene
I cast my eyes and
I am staggered to what beauty before me with
such flowing, velvet hair
We sit with the skin of our thighs rubbing
without us moving an inch
We smile at each other
with our beautiful tainted lips
and
yours move to a lonely whisper
shouting the words,
" I love you. "
